The municipality of Carmona is approximately 36 kilometer south of Manila and about 30 kilometers from the seat of the provincial government, Trece Martirez City. It is linked to its neighboring municipalities by radical road network. The South Luzon expressway, which cuts through the northeastern portion of Carmona, provides a convenient access to municipalities of Laguna as well as strengthens Carmona’s linkage to Metro Manila by reducing travel time to about 30 minutes on normal traffic conditions.

The municipality can be reached by the land transportation via South Expressway, the Biñan-Carmona route, Carmona-Dasmariñas road, through the Canlubang estate route and from General Mariano Alvarez road.

The southern and northern part of the municipality of Carmona is a major link to the neighboring province Laguna, specifically the town of Biñan. The northwest part of the municipality provides connection to the town of General Mariano Alvarez while the western section links Carmona to Silang.

An alternative route to neighboring municipality of Biñan is through Dahlia Street in Barangay Maduya. The Southwoods Driveis now open to the public which provides a new entry & exit points to the South Luzon Expressway.

Road Network

The road-based transportation system in the municipality interacts mainly with Metro Manila, and other areas in the province such as Cavite City and Tagaytay City as well as to the neighboring province of Laguna particularly the towns of Biñan and Sta. Rosa.
